Lisa Durette, MD

Lisa Durette, MD, graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and completed both a general psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as in addiction medicine by the American Board of Preventative Medicine. Dr. Durette has been awarded distinguished fellow of both the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA). A member of the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Political Action Committee Board, Dr. Durette serves on the AACAP Adoption and Foster Care Committee and is a Nevada delegate to the AACAP Assembly.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Durette is an active advocate of children’s mental health locally and serves as chair of the Governor’s Commission of Behavioral Health. She is active in community service as well, serving the executive board of the BE A SHERO Foundation.
Most importantly, Dr. Durette is a mom, avid knitter, and fan of her Peloton bike.
